My Fellow Indian,

Under Anna's leadership, India came on streets against corruption. The people demanded a strong anti-corruption law. The government did not agree. None of the parties agreed. Obviously, they couldn't have agreed because if they passed a strong Jan Lokpal Bill, most of the politicians would be in jail and their properties would be confiscated.

My friend, our entire political system has become rotten. Most of today's problems are due to corrupt politics. Unless it is cleansed, nothing would improve. That's why we entered politics - we realized that staying away will not work. We have now formed the AAM AADMI PARTY. This party does not seek to capture power; it seeks to restore power back to the people.

Corruption has reached such levels that it is becoming impossible for the common man to survive. In Delhi, It is becoming impossible for them to even pay water and electricity bills which are highly inflated on account of corruption. The story of Delhi could well be the story of India. The time has come for people to rise up together and say that they will not allow this corruption.

To give people strength to protest, to remove fear from their minds and join the civil disobedience movement I sat on a fast at a jhuggi colony in Sundar-nagri , New Delhi. Nearly 10 lakh people of Delhi and several eminent and patriotic citizens of the country such as Shri Annaji Hazare , Justice Krishna Iyer, Admiral Ramdas and Shri J.M. Lyngdoh pledged their support towards this campaign.

Gandhiji said that politics devoid of honesty and spirituality is disastrous for the country. We have to change the politics of this country. I am confident that together, we can.

I seek your time and money in this mission as we are all working towards a common cause. Most parties are funded by big corporates for something in return but this will not happen in Aam Aadmi Party. This party would be funded by Aam Aadmi and Aam Aurat of this country. That would be the beginning of an honest and transparent politics, unfortunately which runs on black money today

(પી.ટી.આઇ.) નવી દિલ્હી, તા. ૧૨ : વહીવટી તંત્રને વધુ પારદર્શક બનાવવાના પ્રયાસમાં સરકારે આર.ટી.આઇ. અરજી અને તેની ફીને ઓનલાઇન મોકલાની શરૃ આત કરી છે. ઓનલાઇન માધ્યમ દ્વારા લોકો માહિતી મેળવી શકે અને પોતાના અધિકારનો ઉપયોગ કરી શકે એ માટે સરકારે http://www.rtionline.gov.in પોર્ટલ શરૃ કરી હતી એમ પર્સોનલ એન્ડ ટ્રેનિંગ વિભાગના એક અધિકારીએ કહ્યું હતું. આ વિભાગ દેશમાં પારદર્શક કાનૂનના અમલીકરણ માટેનું મધ્યસ્થી છે. માહિતી ઇચ્છતી વ્યક્તિ સ્ટેટ બેન્ક ઓફ ઇન્ડિયા અથવા તો એની સહયોગી બેન્ક મારફત ઇન્ટરનેટ બેન્કિંગ દ્વારા દસ લાખ રૃપિયાની ફી ભરી શકે છે. ફીની ચૂકવણી માટે ક્રેડિટ અથવા ડેબિટ કાર્ડનો ઉપયોગ પણ કરી શકાય છે. હાલમાં લોકો પોતાની અરજી ઓનલાઇન ભરી શકે છે અને પર્સોનલ એન્ડ ટ્રેનિંગ વિભાગને લગતી માહિતી માટે પણ અરજી કરી શકે છે. આ મંચનો ઉપયોગ કરીને તેઓ ફી પણ ભરી શકશે. એમ વિબાગના એક અધિકારીએ કહ્યું હતું. આ વેબસાઇટ ચાલુ સપ્તાહની શરૃઆતમાં લોન્ચ કરવામાં આવી હતી. આની મારફતે આરટીઆઇ અરજીઓ કે પ્રથમ અપીલને ફાઇલ કરી શકાય છે. નવી દિલ્હી સ્થિત કેન્દ્ર સરકારના કોઈ પણ વિભાગ અથવા મંત્રાલયની માહિતી પણ મળી શકશે. તમામ મંત્રાલયો સુધી આ સવલત પૂરી પાડવામાં આવશે. મહિનાના અંત સુધીમાં પાટનગરની તમામ ઓફિસોને પણ સાંકળી લેવામાં આવશે એમ અધિકારીએ કહ્યું હતું. આ વેબસાઇટ સરકારી માહિતી મેળવવા સરળતા કરી આપશે.

: ટેકનોલોજી અને ઇન્ટરનેટના યુગમાં કામકાજને લગતી માહિતી અને અંગત લાગણીઓની આપ-લે માટે ઇમેલ તેમજ ચેટનો ઉપયોગ બહોળા પ્રમાણમાં થતો હોય છે. બીજી બાજુ અનેક લોકોને એવી પણ ચિંતા હોય છે કે તેમના અવસાન બાદ તેમના ઇમેલમાં સંગ્રહાયેલી માહિતી કોઇ વાંચી લેશે તો...? આ ચિંતાના નિરાકરણ માટે ગૂગલે 'ડિજીટલ વિલ'નામની અનોખી સેવા શરૃ કરી છે. સૂત્રોના જણાવ્યા મુજબ ઇનએક્ટીવ એકાઉન્ટ મેનેજર દ્વારા વ્યક્તિ એક પેજ બનાવી શકે છે. અને તે 'ડિજીટલ વિલ' તરીકે પણ ઉપયોગમાં લઇ શકાય છે. ગૂગલના સૂત્રોએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે 'ઇનએક્ટિવ એકાઉન્ટ મેન્જર'ની મદદથી ગૂગલ ઓનલાઇન સ્ટોરેજમાંથી ડેટા લઇને કોઇ ચોક્કસ વ્યક્તિને મોકલી શકે છે. અથવા તેનો નાશ પણ કરી શકે ચે. આ તમામ વસ્તુ 'ડીજીટલ વસિયત'માં દર્શાવવી પડે છે. એકાઉન્ટ સેટિંગ પેજમાં દર્શાવેલ એક સંદેશમાં ગૂગલે યુઝરને તેનો ડેટા કોઇ વિશ્વાસુ મિત્ર કે પરિવારના સભ્ય સાથે શેર કરવાનો વિકલ્પ આપે છે. આ ઉપરાંત એકાઉન્ટ કાયમ માટે ડિલીટ કરવાની સુવિધા પણ છે. આ બંને સુવિધામાંથી કયો વિકલ્પ કેટલા સમય બાદ પસંદ કરવો તે પણ યુઝર નક્કી કરી શકે છે. આ સમયમર્યાદા પૂરી થાય તે અગાઉ ગૂગલ યુઝરને તે અંગે ઇમેલ કે એસએમએસ પણ મોકલશે. ગૂગલના 'ડિલીટ' વિકલ્પથી યૂઝર એકાઉન્ટ સંપૂર્ણપણે નાશ પામે છે. અને ગૂગલની પ્રોપર્ટીમાં સ્ટોર થયેલી વિગતો પણ સાફ થઇ જાય છે. જેમાં પબ્લિક યુટયુબ વિડીયો, ગૂગલ પ્લસ પ્રોફાઇલ અને ગૂગલ વોઇસ એક્સટેન્શનનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. યુઝર ટાઇમઆઉટ સમયગાળા તરીકે ૩,૬,૯ કે ૧૨ મહિના પસંદ કરી શકે છે. આ સમયગાળો પૂરો થયાના એક માસ અગાઉ ગૂગલ પેટા ઇમેલ એડ્રેસ પર એલર્ટ મોકલે છે. સમય પૂરો થયા બાદ તે નક્કી કરેલી વ્યક્તિને અંગત ઇમેલ મારફતે આ ડેટાની વિગતો પૂરી પડાય છે. ઇન એક્ટિવ એકાઉન્ટ મેનેજરની મદદથી જીમેલનું એકાઉન્ટ ક્યારે 'નિષ્ક્રિય' કરવું તે પણ નક્કી કરી શકાય છે.

With coyotes lurking, stray dogs sniffing and raptors soaring above, you could forgive these wide-eyed burrowing owls for looking slightly nervous.

Using a camera hidden in a traffic cone photographer Mac Stone captured the magnificent birds, which nest in underground holes rather than in trees, in 20 attempts over six months.

The charming results show the wise creatures curiously gazing out over the grassland from their tunnelled habitat in Southern Florida.

Burrowing owls are diurnal, meaning they are active in the day time, and do most of their hunting and flying around a small open area

Mr Stone said: 'Photographing owls is usually difficult, as they have wide territorial ranges, are primarily nocturnal and they nest high in tree cavities.

'Burrowing owls, however, are diurnal and do most of their hunting and flying around a small open area.

'Since their burrows are fixed, it's easy to predict where they'll be a week from now or even five minutes from now.

'They prefer expansive grasslands where they can easily prey on insects and small vertebrates. But, like most habitat-specific animals, their survival is greatly determined by the profitability of their landscapes.

Mr Stone programmed the camera to take a photograph every five seconds over a five hour session. He said : 'I visited them several times, watching their behaviour and trying to figure out how I could position my camera without scaring them away'

The owls are protected species and while their numbers are steady they've had to make serious adjustments to their living styles. Mr Stone said it's rare to see these birds with their surroundings intact, usually because their backyards include golf carts or housing developments

'Dry, flat grasslands are valuable commodities in South Florida for agricultural use, golf courses, or new strip malls which leaves very little room for these ground dwellers.
