દાહોદ શહેરના હનુમાનબજાર સ્થિત શ્રી રણછોડજી મંદિર ખાતેથી આજે તા: 10-07-2013 ના રોજ ૬ઠ્ઠી રથયાત્રાનું સફળ આયોજન થયું હતું. દાહોદ સાંસદ, ધારાસભ્ય, જીલ્લા કલેકટર, જીલ્લા પોલીસ તંત્ર, નગર પ્રમુખ- ઉપપ્રમુખ-કાઉન્સીલરો, ભાજપ અને કોંગેસના પ્રમુખ-હોદ્દેદારો, રથયાત્રા સમિતિના હોદ્દેદારો, દાહોદની અનેક સંસ્થાઓના હોદ્દેદારો સહિત અનેક અગ્રણીઓની ઉપસ્થિતિમાં હૈયાથી હૈયું ભીંસાય તેવી ભક્તોની જનમેદની સાથે શ્રી રણછોડજી મંદિર ખાતેથી સવારે નવ વાગે શાસ્ત્રોક્ત વિધિથી ભગવાન જગન્નાથજીને ભ્રાતા બલરામ અને ભગિની સુભદ્રા સાથે સુશોભિત રથમાં પધરાવ્યા બાદ ચાંદીની સાવરણીથી ભગવાનની રથયાત્રાનો રસ્તો સાફ કરવાની 'પહિંદ' વિધિ બાદ  રથયાત્રાનો શુભારંભ થયો હતો. તો રથયાત્રા નિમિત્તે રથયાત્રાના રૂટના તમામ માર્ગો કેસરી ધજાઓથી અને ભગવાનનું સામૈયું કરતા વિશાળ હોર્ડિંગ્સથી શણગારવામાં આવ્યા હતાં અને શહેરના વિવિધ સમાજ દ્વારા જે તે વિસ્તારોમાં રથયાત્રાનું શ્રધ્ધેય સ્વાગત કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું .તો સમગ્ર રૂટ ઉપર ઠેરઠેર ચાહ, ઠંડા પીણાં, વિવિધ પ્રકારના નાસ્તા જેવી સામગ્રીઓનું ભક્તજનો કાજે સહ્રદયતાથી વિતરણ થયું હતું. રથયાત્રાના વિસામા સ્થળ એવા સોનીવાડમાં માળી સમાજ દ્વારા દર વર્ષની માફક આ વર્ષે પણ ભંડારાનું સુંદર આયોજન થયું હતું. દાહોદ નગર સેવાસદન દ્વારા રથયાત્રાના રૂટપરના તમામ માર્ગો પર સફાઇ તેમજ રસ્તા પર પડેલા ખાડાઓનું પુરણ કામ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. તો રથયાત્રાની પૂર્વ સંધ્યાએ ગઈકાલે દાહોદ જિલ્લા પોલીસ તંત્ર દ્વારા રથયાત્રા નિર્ધારિત રૂટ પર ફ્લેગમાર્ચ યોજવામાં આવી હતી. જ્યારે પોલીસ તંત્ર દ્વારા આજે રથયાત્રાના સમસ્ત રૂટ ઉપર, રથયાત્રા દરમિયાન કોઇ અનિચ્છનિય બનાવ ન બને તે માટે તકેદારીના પગલાં રૂપે ફિક્સ પોઇન્ટ, ધાબા પોઇન્ટ, ડીપ પોઇન્ટ, કોમ્યુનલ પોઇન્ટ ઉપર પોલીસ બંદોબસ્ત તેમજ અગત્યના રૂટ પર સ્કવોર્ડ તેમજ ટ્રાફિક પોઇન્ટ રાખવામાં આવ્યા હતાં. રથયાત્રાના રૂટ પર મહત્વના એવા કેટલાંક પોઇન્ટ પર સીસીટીવી કેમેરા ગોઠવવામાં આવ્યા હતાં.આ રથયાત્રાની વિવિધ તસ્વીરો આપણે પણ માણીએ.
