દાહોદની લબ્ધપ્રતિષ્ઠિત સંસ્થા દાહોદ અનાજ મહાજન સાર્વજનિક એજ્યુકેશન સોસાયટીની 64 મી વાર્ષિક સાધારણ સભા આજે તા: 23/06/2013 ના રોજ શેઠશ્રી ગિરધરલાલ સંસ્કાર કેન્દ્ર ખાતે યોજાઈ હતી. સભાના આરંભે તાજેતરમાં ઉત્તરાખંડ ખાતે કુદરતી હોનારતનો ભોગ બનેલા મૃતકોને બે મીનીટનું મૌન રાખીને શ્રધ્ધાંજલિ અર્પવામાં આવી હતી.બાદમાં સમસ્ત વર્ષના હિસાબ કિતાબો અને સંસ્થાના અન્ય કાર્યક્રમોનું સરવૈયું પ્રસ્તુત થયું હતું. તો આ વર્ષે નિવૃત્ત થતા 3 શિક્ષકો સર્વશ્રી અરવિંદભાઈ પંચોલી, શ્રી ગોહિલસર તથા શ્રીમતી અનિતાબેન પી દેસાઈને શાલ અને સન્માનપત્ર વડે સન્માનવામાં આવ્યા હતા. બાદમાં આગામી 3 વર્ષ માટેના પ્રમુખ તરીકે વર્તમાન પ્રમુખશ્રી શોધનભાઈ શાહના નામનો પ્રસ્તાવ રજુ થતા સહુ સદસ્યોએ વધાવી લીધો હતો . બાદમાં પ્રસંગોચિત વક્તવ્યમાં સંસ્થાના મેનેજિંગ ટ્રસ્ટી શ્રી સુરેશભાઈ શેઠ તથા શ્રી શોધનભાઈ શાહે હાલમાં એમ વાય હાઈસ્કુલ તથા આર એલ હાઈસ્કુલના નુતન ભવનોના બાંધકામની માહિતી આપતા જણાવ્યું હતું કે લગભગ 70% જેટલું સ્ટ્રકચર કાર્ય પૂર્ણ કરી ચૂકેલ આ ભવનો કાજે દેશ-વિદેશમાં રહેતા ભૂતપૂર્વ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ આગળ આવીને દાન આપે તે હાલની તાતી જરૂરત છે. દાહોદના જાણીતા ફોટોગ્રાફર શ્રી મોહંમદી કપૂરના સૌજન્યથી પ્રાપ્ત તસ્વીરો આપણે પણ અત્રે માણીએ:
