હવે સંગીત પ્રેમીઓને જુની અને દુર્લભ ગ્રામોફોન રેકોર્ડ ઓનલાઇન સાંભળવા મળશે
નવી દિલ્હી તા.૩: દેશના સંગીત પ્રેમી જુની અને દુર્લભ ગ્રામોફોન રેકોર્ડિંગ્સને ઓનલાઇન રજીસ્ટ્રીના માધ્યમથી હવે જુના જમાનાના સંગીતની ડિઝીટલ આવૃતિ સુધી પહોંચી શકશે. લેખક અને ગાયક વિક્રમ સંપત દ્વારા એક કાર્યક્રમ દરમિયાન ઔપચારીક રીતે વેબસાઇટ www.archiveofindianmusic.org શરૂઆત કરવામાં આવી. પ્રયોગિક ધોરણે આની શરૂઆત આ વર્ષના જાન્યુઆરીથી કરવામાં આવી હતી. સંપતે ગ્રામોફોનનું રેકોર્ડિંગ સસ્તા બજારો અને રદ્દી વિક્રેતાઓ પાસેથી એકઠી કરીને ડિઝીટલ રૂપ આપ્યા બાદ વેબસાઇટ પર મૂકવામાં આવી છે. સંપતે કહ્યુ કે આ સાંસ્કૃતિક ધરોહરને બધા લોકો સુધી પહોંચાડવાનો પ્રયાસ છે. વેબસાઇટ લોન્ચ કર્યા બાદ વિદેશ મંત્રી સલમાન ખુર્શીદે કહ્યુ કે, આ સંગીત પ્રેમીઓ માટે જશ્નનો માહોલ છે. જેને હવે જુના સુરીલા અવાજો સાંભળવા મળશે. આ એક અભિયાન બનવું જોઇએ અને વધુને વધુ યુવાનોએ આમાં જોડાવું જોઇએ. નવી પેઢી માટે જુના રેકોર્ડિંગ્સ સુરક્ષિત રાખવાના હેતુ સાથે બનાવવામાં આવેલી વેબસાઇટમાં ભીમસેન જોશી, દેવિકા રાની, અબ્દુલ કરીમ ખાન, હીરાબાઇ બારોડેકર અને મદુરૈ મની અય્યર જેવા ગાયક-ગાયિકાઓની ૧૯૦૨ થી ૧૯૫૨ સુધીના રેકોર્ડિંગ્સ સામેલ છ

It is monsoon season yet again! And this time the rain Gods are in a much more benevolent mood. The rains bring with them a much wanted respite from the sweltering summer heat and everyone, be it a child or an adult experiences the stirrings of wanderlust within themselves.

'Sitavan' is the place where Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman spent years of their exile. The 'Pandav Gufa' is rumoured to have sheltered the Pandavas during their exile. It is from this hideout that Arjun began his appeasement of Lord Shiva for acquiring the celestial weapons. The ancient Arvalem cave complex stand witness to the rich cultural heritage of India.
The thundering waterfalls, undulating meadows, sparkling fountains and crisp clean air of Saputara assume an ethereal aura in the monsoons with the clouds descending from the hills and engulfing everything around in tiny droplets of rain.

અમદાવાદ તા.૩૧ : ગુજરાતમાં સસ્તા મકાનો આપવાની જાહેરાતનો અમલ હવે શરૂ થયો છે. ગુજરાત હાઉસીંગ બોર્ડ મુખ્યમંત્રી ગૃહ યોજના હેઠળ રાજકોટ, વડોદરા અને સુરતમાં પાર્કીંગ વત્તા ૧૩ માળની બહુમાળી ઇમારતો બાંધવા જઇ રહ્યુ છે જે માટેના અરજીપત્રકો આવતીકાલથી આપવાનું શરૂ થશે. સ્વયં નાણા સંચાલિત યોજના હેઠળ રાજકોટમાં મુંજકા ખાતે એલઆઇજી વર્ગ માટે ૧-બીએચકેના ૪૧૬ ફલેટનું નિર્માણ કરવામાં આવશે. આ ફલેટની અંદાજીત કિંમત રૂ.૧ર,૧ર,૦૦૦ છે. જયારે રાહતદરે મકાન ફાળવવાની અંદાજીત કિંમત રૂ.૯ લાખ નક્કી થઇ છે અને અરજી સાથે રૂ.ર૦,૦૦૦ આપવાના રહેશે. રાજકોટ ઉપરાંત વડોદરાના તરસાલી ખાતે એલઆઇજી અને એમઆઇજી માટે અનુક્રમે ૧-બીએચકે અને ર-બીએચકેના પ૭ર અને પર૦ મકાનો તથા ગણેશપુરા સુરત ખાતે ૩૧૨ અને ૩૧ર ફલેટો બાંધવામાં આવશે. આજરોજ અખબારોમાં ગુજરાત હાઉસીંગ બોર્ડ દ્વારા પ્રસિધ્ધ કરવામાં આવેલી જાહેરાતમાં જણાવાયુ છે કે યોજનાનું માહિતીપત્રક હાઉસીંગ બોર્ડની વેબસાઇટ ગુજરાત હાઉસીંગ બોર્ડ ડોટ ઓઆરજી ડોટ ઇન ઉપરથી મેળવી શકાશે અને ડાઉનલોડ પણ થઇ શકશે. કોરા અરજીપત્રક અને યોજનાનું બ્રોશર રૂ.૧૦૦ જમાકરાવીએથી માત્ર કોટક મહિન્દ્ર બેંકમાંથી મળી શકશે. યોજનાની માહિતી બોર્ડની તમામ કચેરીઓમાં પણ નોટિસ બોર્ડ ઉપર મુકવામાં આવી છે. હાઉસીંગ બોર્ડના કમિશ્નરની સહીથી આજે પ્રસિધ્ધ કરવામાં આવેલી જાહેરાતમાં જણાવાયુ છે કે, આવતીકાલથી જરૂરી ડિપોઝીટ જમા કરાવી સંપુર્ણ વિગતો ભરેલ અરજીપત્રક કોટક બેંક ૧-૮ થી ૩૧-૮ સુધીમાં જમા કરાવી શકાશે. હાઉસીંગ બોર્ડ દ્વારા જણાવાયુ છે કે સુરતની સાઇટ ખાતે સેમ્પલ હાઉસ ૧૦-૮ પછી જોવા મળશે. આ ફલેટની સ્કીમ વાર્ષિક રૂા.અઢી લાખની આવક ધરાવતા લોકો માટેની હોવાનું જાણવા મળે છે.
