ગુજરાતના મુખ્યમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદી, આગામી 17 ડીસેમ્બરના રોજ થનાર બીજા તબક્કાની ચુંટણીના પ્રચાર માટે આજે તા:14/12/2012 ના રોજ સવારે દાહોદ જીલ્લાના ઝાલોદ ખાતે આવ્યા હતા. મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીની સભા સમાપ્ત થયા બાદ તેમની સભા માટે અત્રે બંદોબસ્તમાં આવેલ પોલીસકર્મીઓ પૈકી દાહોદના 17 પોલીસકર્મીઓની એક ટુકડી, સભા પત્યા બાદ એક પોલીસવાનમાં દાહોદ તરફ પરત આવતા સંજેલી નજીક આવેલ સાપોઈ મુકામે તેના ડ્રાઈવરશ્રી સકજીભાઈ ગૌતમભાઈને હાર્ટએટેક આવતા તે ગાડીના સ્ટેરીંગ ઉપર જ ઢળી પડ્યા હતા અને ગાડીનું બેલેન્સ ખોરવાઈ જઈ તે ગાડી સીધેસીધી નજીકના ખેતરમાં આવેલ આશરે 25 ફૂટ પહોળાઈ ધરાવતા કુવામાં ખાબકી હતી.

ગાડીમાં સવાર 17 મહિલા અને પુરુષ પોલીસકર્મીઓમાંથી 6 મહિલા અને 5 પુરુષ મળી કુલ્લે 11 જણાંના અકસ્માતમાં મૃત્યુ નીપજ્યા હતા તેમના મૃત્યુદેહને તથા આ ગોઝારા અકસ્માતમાં બચી જવા પામેલા 1 મહિલા અને 5 પુરુષ પોલીસકર્મીઓને ઘાયલ હાલતમાં દાહોદની સરકારી હોસ્પિટલ ખાતે લાવવામાં આવ્યા હતા. આ અકસ્માતના મૃતકોના નામ આ મુજબ છે:

1-શ્રીમતી મીનાક્ષીબેન કિરીટભાઈ, 2-શ્રી રસનભાઈ એસ .નીનામા 3- ગુણવંતીબેન બી . નીનામા ,4- સુમિત્રાબેન જી. ડામોર, 5- શીતલબેન જી.પટેલ, 6-સંગીતાબેન તડવી 7-શારદાબેન એ . પટેલ, 8- કેવલસિંહ એમ.બારીયા 9-સકજીભાઈ ગૌતમભાઈ (ચાલક) 10-ચેતન આર .ડામોર 11- જેઠાભાઈ પી . પરમાર

આ અકસ્માતના સ્થળે દાહોદના કેમેરામેન શ્રી મનિષ જૈન (D.T.V.) પહોચી ગયા હતા અને શ્રી મનિષ જૈને ઘટનાની તસ્વીરો લીધી હતી. આ સિવાય દાહોદની સિવિલ હોસ્પિટલ ખાતે મૃતકોને તથા ઘાયલોને લાવ્યા હતા. ત્યાંની માહિતી શ્રી ઈરફાન મલેકના સૌજન્યથી તથા તસ્વીરો દાહોદના શ્રી સંતોષ જૈન, શ્રી રાજ દેસાઈના સૌજન્યથી પ્રાપ્ત થઇ છે.

It is quite common for people to form close and loving friendships with animals.
But it is quite a different matter when that animal is a 27-stone tiger with a fondness for fighting.
  
Abdullah Sholeh, 31 has formed an unbreakable bond with four-year-old feline Mulan.

Friends: Mr Sholeh regularly sleeps, plays and fights with the enormous tiger
 
He regularly sleeps, plays and fights with the enormous tiger. 
The pair spend every day together after Mr  Sholeh helped raise her from a three-month-old cub in Malang, Indonesia. 
  
He now cares for her full-time for owner Noer Mohammaed Sholeh - and has become affectionately known as the tiger nanny. 
The pair are so inseparable, Mr  Sholeh often shuns his own bed to sleep alongside the big cat in a rickety outhouse.

And Bengal Mulan is even known to 'mock attack', hug and kiss her companion when they play in the garden behind their home.
However, despite the playfighting, Mulan clearly doesn't appreciate her strength.
As one picture shows, Mr Sholeh was left with a bruised and bloodshot eye after being caught by one of Mulan's paws.
